Egyptian poet Abdul Rahman Yusuf participated in a ceremony at the Egyptian press syndicate to mark the memorial of the late revolutionary Che Guevara, who was assassinated by the American intelligence (CIA).
Among the attendees were Angel Dalmo Fernandez , the Cuban ambassador in Cairo, Shawki Massoud the former Egyptian ambassador in Cuba, Farida el nakash the editor in chief of "Alahali" newspaper and Dr. Mohamed El Said Edris, the expert at Alahram centre for political and strategic studies.
Yusuf recited a poem he wrote especially for the occasion entitled "a step and a half away" and due to the audience’s request he recited another poem entitled "Egypt as a poem
